Please be advised that all Recreational Areas shaded are closed until further notice.

Permanent Land Closures

These areas are permanently closed, including but not limited to:

Little Paradise and Bartalumba Bay
Central Lake
Makbumanja
Central Hill
North East Isles
Dalumba Bay
Emerald River
Yilakbumanja to Cape Beatrice
Chasm Island
Nalkayuberra (Six Mile) and all areas south of Six Mile
Areas east of Salt Lake Mouth
All areas labelled “Sacred Site”
Red Sand Dunes
Flat Rock
Jagged Head (overhang)

Under the Aboriginal Land Rights (1976) Act all persons visiting Aboriginal Land must hold an appropriate permit before entering onto Aboriginal Land.
