The Community Support Program (CSP) started servicing each of the three Anindiyakwa communities on 1 July 2018.
The ALC’s new CSP was developed by the ALC Board of Directors to benefit all people of Anindilyakwa descent.
Funded through mining royalties received on behalf of Traditional Owners, the program will support the Anindilyakwa people with services such as:Royalty applications; the Royalty Deduction Scheme; the Royalty Shoppa warehouse; cultural/ceremonial activities; ID cards; and electricity.
The CSP includes a large-scale dental program to offer oral hygiene prevention and primary care to all Anindilyakwa people.
The program distributes household goods to homes in community. These goods consist of beds, mattresses, kitchen appliances and much more.
The CSP has opened office in Angurugu, Shop 6 GEAT Building, with offices in Umbakumba and Milyakburra opening soon.
The CSP is expected to have a big impact on the daily lives of Anindilyakwa traditional owners, increasing what people can do with royalty money, individually and collectively.
